Samsung Galaxy A71: An XXL smartphone with quad cameras and unrivalled battery life

The Galaxy A71 is a mid-range smartphone, but that does not mean that Samsung has done things by halves. On the contrary, the company has included a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Display and a 64 MP main rear-facing camera. That is not the only good news either, with the device's 4,500 mAh battery capable of delivering outstanding runtimes.
Samsung has revised its popular Galaxy A-series, and has equipped its new mid-range handsets with some exciting features. One new entrant is the Galaxy A71, which succeeds the Galaxy A70. The Galaxy A71 is not a radical departure from the Galaxy A70, though. It has inherited a 6.7-inch display, for example, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
The Galaxy A71 has a Super AMOLED panel too, although Samsung has switched to a punch-hole display for its latest mid-range handset. The South Korean company has added a fourth camera too. The additional camera is a macro lens, which resolves at 5 MP. That is the only new piece of camera hardware to grace the Galaxy A71, though. Samsung has upped the main camera from a 32 MP to a 64 MP sensor, too.
The device still shoots at 16 MP though, as it uses 4-in-1 pixel binning to maximise camera performance. Despite that, the Galaxy A71 still fares poorly in low-light.
Ultimately, if you after a large mid-range smartphone with excellent battery life and a bright AMOLED panel, then the Galaxy A71 could be a good choice. Please see our Samsung Galaxy A71 review for our full thoughts on the device.
